Technical Session Description

"Difficult Discharges"

Geared to environmental professionals, the technical session will explore new and innovative approaches in abandoned mine reclamation, including viewing AMD/AML features as resources. Topics will include treatment of high flow, high metals discharges; sites presenting difficult challenges for conventional remediation approaches; market-based approaches to remediation; in-situ treatment; and source reduction.

Presentation proposals will be accepted until February 6, 2004.
