low pH iron oxidation
A number of practitioners have witnessed a phenomenon with AMD that yet defies a complete explanation, but one that has a possibility of significantly decreasing iron and acidity loads for low pH high iron discharges with only a very modest effort. Too good to be true? We don't know yet, but this one merits closer scrutiny. If it is true, very substantial savings and other benefits may accrue in AMD treatment.
